We have various courses to choose:-
COMMERCIAL FLORISTRY
consisting of 30 "hands on" lessons teaching all the basic and advanced techniques required to be a successful professional florist and leading to a new and exciting career in the floristry industry. Each lesson is a 2 hour session and all flowers and sundries are supplied. You take your work home with you and build a portfolio as the course progresses.
Classes are ideal for beginners, retraining or refresher courses.
These classes are held in Southport on Tuesday's and Beenleigh on Wednesdays (see our "where to find us") page for times and details.
Students attending Southport can choose either
1 lesson per week for 30 weeks or,
2 lessons per week over 15 weeks.
FUN WITH FLOWERS COURSE
This course is ideal for those who want to make floristry a hobby and you take part in 6 lessons from the commercial course. Ideal also for those who are not sure if floristry is ideal for them and want to try working with flowers before committing to the full commercial course.
WEEKEND WORKSHOPS
We hold full day workshops once a month which are separate to the commercial course. (see our workshops page for details on courses running this year)
These courses cover in-depth a wide range of subjects. Beginners are welcome to attend these classes.
